| This current MSFT router/hacker problem is quite quite interesting... While Microsoft was looking for the milk, somebody peed in their cereal. This does not bode well for the .NET initiative of which BizTalk is the prime component. This is good news and bad news. Bad first: BizTalk is the most public platform for demonstrating and executing XML/SOAP interoperability. Reliability in these systems is super-critical and MSFT will have to attempt to patch that reputation - it will take time. This will further delay large scale XML efforts. Good news: ... but will buy time for smaller initiatives. Smaller scale XML efforts will not rely on Microsoft service and anyone capable of offering similar services will be able to make hay. Hey Bill... ya got some milk (I think) on your chin. Excellento pimento portuno PS. The next post will set the tone. |
