| I believe and have believed that the dollar can go on some strong counter trend upside rallies, and that it is likely near a major historical low, but, in all fairness, you have been wrong with a blanket deflationary philosophy since my last conversation with you. As we discussed before, it was and is necessary IMO to look at each asset class individually. Since my post on that topic, gold for example, oil for example, have all had very strong moves to the upside, so, no deflation there (and there are other asset classes moving up.). Also, I have not looked at the Nas chart from the Fed meeting where you shorted compared to today, but, it has been anything but deflationary. It is either flat or also up. Now, we likely see lower stock prices soon, but, being short around that Fed meeting and you have likely had to bail out by now. But anyway, the market is ever changing, that is for sure. Best, TC |
